Photograph taken at the Nuremberg Trials of the German General Staff in August 1946. They did actually want to try him for "warcrimes" which mainly consisted of "obeying orders", but it was never followed through because of his ill-health.	Photograph taken in May 1948 as the Fieldmarshal passed through London on his way home to Germany after his release from captivity.
Norstadt Military Hospital 1949 shortly after his release from captivity	Photograph taken two years before the GFM von Rundstedt's death (January 1953 aged 77). He is pictured here with General der Infanterie Günther Blumentritt, his chief of staff for many years.
